Le Muse
1999 – Collezione di Vasi
È possibile immaginare la forma di un vaso senza la sua necessaria e caratteristica funzione di contenimento dell’acqua? A partire da questa considerazione definisco una collezione di vasi, dalle linee minimali in cui la forma è svincolata dalla funzione, o meglio, ne tiene conto in maniera diversa.
“Le Muse” sono forme cave che possono essere eventualmente combinate con altre forme in cui è possibile inserire l’acqua. Nei vasi così definiti si possono inserire sia fiori freschi sia fiori secchi ammirando in modo nuovo la loro bellezza (anche il gambo del fiore diventa elemento formale importante e ben visibile).
Il vaso Sabrina è stato presentato a Schopenhauer (Fontana Arte) nel 1999.

The Muses
1999 – Collection of Vases
Is it possible to imagine the shape of a vase without its necessary and characteristic function of containing water? Starting from this consideration I define a collection of vases, with minimal lines in which the shape is freed from the function, or rather, takes it into account in a different way.
“The Muses” are hollow shapes that can be combined with other shapes in which it is possible to insert water. In the vases thus defined you can insert both fresh and dried flowers admiring their beauty in a new way (even the stem of the flower becomes an important and clearly visible formal element).
The Sabrina vase was presented at Schopenhauer (Fontana Arte) in 1999.
