Varesè
2017 – Concorso “Progettare una panchina” indetto da Wareseable in occasione della Varese Design Week 2017
Disegno una panchina con un sostegno ispirato alla forma di un vaso. Una forma che vuole rendere omaggio al verde e ai giardini della città di Varese. Un sostegno unico, centrale e cavo, che esalta linea e leggerezza della panchina. La seduta e lo schienale sono definiti da una semplice lastra di metallo sagomata e piegata. Il disegno con cui la lastra viene forata, alleggerita e decorata, trae ispirazione dalle ombre irregolari che fanno le foglie di una pianta rigogliosa sul terreno.
Il progetto è stato selezionato tra i primi dieci finalisti del concorso. Dal 2017 Track Design propone sul suo sito la panchina Varesè in corten. Due panchine sono state donate da Track Design tramite l’associazione Waresable al comune di Varese il 12.03.2028 in occasione della Varese Design Week 2018.

2017 – “Design a Bench” Competition announced by Wareseable during the Varese Design Week 2017
I designed a bench with a support inspired by the shape of a vase. A shape that wants to pay homage to the greenery and gardens of the city of Varese. A single, central and hollow support that enhances the line and lightness of the bench. The seat and back are defined by a simple shaped and folded metal sheet. The design with which the sheet is pierced, lightened and decorated, draws inspiration from the irregular shadows that the leaves of a lush plant make on the ground.
The project was selected among the top ten finalists of the competition. Since 2017, Track Design has been offering the Varesè bench in corten on its website. Two benches were donated by Track Design through the Waresable association to the municipality of Varese on 03.12.2028 on the occasion of the Varese Design Week 2018.
