Ecoalgobit
Ecoalgobit è un’entità digitale malevole che si diffonde, come un eco senza fine, all’interno della rete internet. Si racconta che riesce a rubare la coscienza delle persone collegate al web hackerando i loro mezzi digitali di connessione. Si dice che manipola e ricompone a piacimento le coscienze dei malcapitati con il fine di costruirsene una tutta sua in continua evoluzione. Si impossessa della mia coscienza una notte mentre disegno con il computer e da allora mi costringe assiduamente a disegnare visi che gli ricordano la sua prima vittima… una donna di cui è follemente ossessionato.
Ecoalgobit è un prodotto della mia fantasia che si ispira alle continue sperimentazioni che faccio, con software di grafica vettoriale, per definire uno stile personale di rappresentazione del volto umano. Presento Ecoalgobit nel 2024 con il racconto “Cortocircuito: Genesi”
Cortocircuito: Genesi
Colpa di quel maledetto temporale che mi ha svegliato. Dovevo rimanere a letto a dormire e invece mi sono alzato e ho acceso il computer. Ricordo un lampo accecante, un rumore assordante, qualche istante di buio pesto e poi è tornata la luce. Sembrava tornato tutto a posto… e invece no… maledetto!… Maledetto Ecoalgobit… ne avevo sentito parlare, ma pensavo si trattasse della solita fake news.
Ecoalgobit… un’unità elementare di informazione digitale, istruita da un algoritmo malevole ribelle che si diffonde riflettendosi come un eco infinito all’interno della rete globale. Dicono che si alimenti delle coscienze delle persone con cui entra in contatto per cercare di costruirsi una coscienza tutta sua.
Lo sento che scava dentro di me e mi costringe a creare immagini utilizzando linee, forme e colori per definire delle composizioni che ricordano volti umani… maledetto… è ossessionato dal volto di una figura femminile… dicono sia la sua prima vittima… Non riesco a staccare la mano dal mouse… forse se stacco la mano dal mouse, tutto torna come prima… tutto torna normale… aiuto!… aiutatemi!… aiutatemi a staccare la mano dal mouse…
Ecoalgobit
Ecoalgobit is a malevolent digital entity that spreads, like an endless echo, through the internet. It is said to steal the consciousness of people connected to the web by hacking their digital devices. Rumor has it that it manipulates and reshapes the minds of its unfortunate victims at will, with the ultimate goal of constructing a constantly evolving consciousness of its own. It took over my consciousness one night while I was drawing on the computer, and since then it has relentlessly forced me to create faces that remind it of its very first victim… a woman with whom it is madly obsessed.
Ecoalgobit is a figment of my imagination, inspired by my ongoing experimentation with vector graphic software in the pursuit of a personal style for representing the human face.
I introduced Ecoalgobit in 2024 with the short story “Short Circuit: Genesis”.
Short Circuit: Genesis
Blame that damned thunderstorm that woke me up. I should’ve stayed in bed and kept sleeping, but instead, I got up and turned on the computer. I remember a blinding flash, a deafening noise, a few moments of pitch darkness and then the lights came back on. Everything seemed back to normal… but it wasn’t. Damn it! Damn you, Ecoalgobit… I had heard of it, but I thought it was just another fake news story.
Ecoalgobit… a basic unit of digital information, trained by a rogue malicious algorithm, spreading by reflecting itself like an infinite echo through the global network. They say it feeds on the consciousness of those it comes into contact with, trying to build a consciousness of its own.
I can feel it digging inside me, forcing me to create images using lines, shapes, and colors compositions that resemble human faces… Damn it… it’s obsessed with the face of a woman… they say she was its first victim… I can’t lift my hand off the mouse… maybe if I take my hand off the mouse, everything will go back to normal… Everything will be normal again… Help! Help me! Help me take my hand off the mouse…
